Garrett Williams joined the firm as an intern in August 2016 and became an associate in August 2017. He represents public school districts in a variety of legal areas, including labor and employment, special education, and student discipline. Garrett also presents regularly on school law topics, including regional and national seminars.
Garrett graduated summa cum laude from Gonzaga University School of Law, where he finished second in his class, won the prestigious Dean’s Medal for Academic Excellence, and earned nine CALI awards. While in law school, Garrett competed in the National Appellate Advocacy Competition. His team was undefeated at the Washington, D.C. Regionals and later competed at Nationals in Chicago, IL. Garrett also served as a Judicial Extern for the Washington State Court of Appeals. Garrett completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Washington.
In their spare time, Garrett and his wife travel, ride motorcycles and snowmobiles, explore Spokane trails, and chase their son and daughter around the house.
